The mission of Smiles for Success is to offer cost-free dental care to women graduates of accredited job readiness and placement programs or other community-based agencies thus helping those who are helping themselves.
Gillette Hayden Memorial Fund » Donate Online
AAWD’s Gillette Hayden Memorial Fund is a loan program for Junior/Senior and Graduate degree students. The Fund make low cost loans of up to $2,000 per year available to help students pay for the cost of dental school.
Additionally, the Gillette Hayden Memorial Foundation co-sponsors the P&G Research Award for Post-Doctoral students to encourage the advancement of research in the field of women’s oral health.
Named in honor of the late Dr. June Warren Lee, an AAWD past-president and much loved and respected leader, who passed in April of 2010.
The inaugural award will be presented in June 2012 to AAWD’s Board Student Representative who has shown excellence in her leadership, organizational skills and service to AAWD. The award consists for an all expenses
paid trip to attend the AAWD’s Annual Meeting and includes the costs of airfare, hotel, meeting registration
and any out of pocket expen
